Kalamazoo, MI:
On Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 at 10:45 pm, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the area of Cork St/ S Burdick St for a report of a structure fire near the intersection. When officers arrived they found heavy smoke conditions coming from a business located in the 100 block of E Cork St. Fire suppression efforts were started and the fire was extinguished. Firefighters were on scene for approximately two hours and the fire was contained to the business. No civilians or firefighters were injured in this incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal.
