Pearl Street Shooting

Kalamazoo, MI:

 On Saturday, November 4th, 2017 around 05:00 am, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Pearl St for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 20 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. Life-saving measures were initiated and the victim was transported to Bronson Hospital for his injuries. He is currently listed in critical condition. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to investigate this incident.
