N Rose St Stabbing Investigation

October 6, 2017 by Spencer Bridges

On October 5th, 2017, at approximately 5:12pm., the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety was at Bronson Hospital when an 18 year old male entered the ER. The Kalamazoo resident told officers that he had been stabbed, but gave little information. The victim was taken into surgery due to the injuries sustained to his abdomen. He remains in critical condition at this time.

Officers were able to locate a scene where this stabbing took place. Lab personnel responded to the 800 block of N. Rose to process the scene. Officers canvassed the area attempting to locate witnesses to the assault. At this time officers have very little to go on, and are asking for help from citizens.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 269-337-8994 or Silent Observer at 269-343-2100.
