Kalamazoo, MI: On April 16, 2017, at approximately 1:32 A.M., KDPS Officers conducted a traffics stop in the 1100-block of Mills Street.
During the traffic stop a KDPS K9 responded and alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded two handguns that were stolen out of Kalamazoo County and suspected methamphetamine.
The driver a 34-year-old resident of Kalamazoo was arrested on numerous weapons charges including Carrying Concealed Weapon, Felony Firearm, Felon in Possession of Firearm, Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
