Kalamazoo, MI: On Wednesday, March 30, 2017 at approximately 2:30 A.M., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 1300 block of S. Westnedge Ave. A resident heard fighting in an adjacent apartment and observed someone jump out of a window. This person was found by officers and admitted to fleeing from two assailants. One of the assailants held him at knife point demanding his shoes. Prior to escaping he was slashed in the arm by the knife. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. One of the suspects was identified and the other is still at large.
