Kalamazoo, MI: At approximately 9:00 P.M. on April 2, 2017, Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to 1723 Krom St.regarding a garage fire. Upon arrival officers found an unattached garage fully involved in fire. Two nearby houses were also in danger of igniting. Hose streams were used to cool the adjacent houses while the garage fire was extinguished.
Damage to the nearby houses was limited to melted siding. The garage and the two cars inside were completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently under investigation.
