January 6, 2017 by Spencer Bridges

KALAMAZOO, MI: On January 5, 2017, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officer Dan Boglitsch was patrolling the downtown area when he observed a BMW that had recently been stolen during a home invasion. Contact was made with the subjects, and during an investigation, more stolen items were located on both subjects from the same home invasion that involved the vehicle.

As a result of this investigation, a 43 year old Kalamazoo man was charged with 2 felony counts of possession of stolen property and a 43 year old Kalamazoo woman was charged with 2 outstanding warrants along with possession of a stolen auto.

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8139 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
