Multiple gunshots fired into residence on Southworth Terrace

Kalamazoo, MI: On Sunday, December 18th, 2016, at approximately 1:54 a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the 900 block of Southworth Terrace on a report of a male subject in a vehicle firing shots into a house. Upon arrival, officers witnessed the suspect vehicle parked in the middle of the street in the 900 block of Southworth Terrace. The arriving officers attempted to make contact with the suspect, but the suspect fled in a vehicle. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody after a short vehicle pursuit.

The male suspect, a 37 year old Kalamazoo resident, was arrested on multiple felony charges which include: Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling, Fleeing and Eluding and Operating While Intoxicated. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
