On December 15, 2016 at approximately 9:00 p.m. a second suspect was taken into custody for the shooting death of Jacob Ryan Jones. The suspect, a 20 year-old native of Muskegon, was arrested without incident in Muskegon and will be lodged in Kalamazoo County Jail.
Without the cooperation of WMU, WMU PD, MSP, several tips and leads, this case could not have been solved as quickly as it was.
No further information regarding the person in custody will be released at this time. The name will be released after the arraignment which will possibly be Monday, December 19, 2016.
