Kalamazoo, MI: On December 8, 2016, at about 10:28 p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers and Western Michigan University Police responded to the report of a man shot in the 700 block of S. Howard Street. On arrival, officers located the man who was clearly deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers began interviewing witnesses and learned that two men fled the area on foot. These two men were believed to have left the area in a vehicle parked nearby. The suspects involved were described as follows:
Suspect #1 – A black male with a slender build standing about 5’10” wearing jeans, black hooded sweatshirt with a red bandana covering his face and armed with a handgun.
Suspect #2 – A black male standing about 6’4”, slender build, wearing jeans, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, with a dark colored bandana covering his face.
The suspects involved have not been located. The victim is a 20 year old male.
