Clown Threat Suspect Arrested

Kalamazoo, MI:  On October 6th, 2016, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety received information from concerned citizens about a Social Media threat of violence to our local High Schools. Public Safety worked throughout the night to uncover the person(s) responsible for the threat.

This morning at 6:00 a.m., our investigations led us to make an arrest of a 17 year-old Loy Norrix student responsible for making the Social Media threat. Based on the information, it is believed the suspect acted alone.

The investigation is ongoing, anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 337-8139 or Silent Observer at 269 343-2100.
