Update: Multiple homes tagged with graffiti in the Vine Neighborhood

Kalamazoo, MI: On Thursday 9-8-16, Officers from Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) worked with the Criminal Investigations Division reviewing video footage from the evening of this incident and were able to identify a suspect.  Upon contacting the suspect, admissions were obtained identifying the majority of the graffiti as being done by him as well as evidence being recovered in the suspect’s custody.  KDPS is awaiting contact from all of the victims involved, as well as estimates to repair all of the damage before a proper charge can be submitted.  KDPS is requesting anyone who had property damaged as a result of this case to drop off an estimate outlining the cost to repair it to KDPS headquarters teleserve office, located at 150 E Crosstown during normal business hours.  The suspect is a 20 year old Kalamazoo resident.
