Kalamazoo, MI: On September 7, at approximately 10 p.m., investigators from the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team executed a search warrant in the 1400 block of North Park St in the City of Kalamazoo. This warrant was in reference to an ongoing KVET investigation into the distribution of large amounts of cocaine in that area.
During a search of the location, investigators located over 270 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately $15,000. Investigators also located crack cocaine, heroin, prescription pills, Marijuana, and US currency believed to be the proceeds of narcotics sales and items used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics. A 38-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested for Delivery and Manufacturing Cocaine, Delivery and Manufacturing Heroin, Delivery and Manufacturing of Crack Cocaine and Operating and Maintaining a Drug House. The suspect was lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail and the case was sent to the Kalamazoo County Prosecutors Office for review.
