Kalamazoo, MI: On Saturday August 6, 2016, at about 0330 hours, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Rose Street regarding a robbery. The victim reported having personal property taken by a black male. The victim, a 37 year old male resident of Kalamazoo Township, sustained non-life threatening injuries that were treated on-scene.
Based on the suspects’ description, officers stopped two males in the area of W Frank Street and N Church Street. Both suspects were found to be in possession of property stolen from the victim. The suspects, a 17 year old male and 22 year old male, are residents of the City of Kalamazoo. The suspects are currently being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail on a charge of unarmed robbery awaiting arraignment.
