Kalamazoo, MI: On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at approximately 5:48 p.m., Kalamazoo Pubic Safety Officers responded to the Fox Ridge apartment complex on the report of multiple gunshots fired. Responding officers located evidence of a shooting within the complex near the 1400 block. Witnesses reported two men shooting at each other in the parking lot; however no one including the suspects was struck by any gunfire. One suspect, a 32 year old Kalamazoo resident was identified.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety takes great concern about violent acts such as this incident. An even greater concern is the fact this shooting occurred during broad daylight with many innocent bystanders, including small children, nearby.
