Man Shot in the 1300 block of Krom Street

Kalamazoo, MI: On Sunday, April 3rd, 2016, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 1300 block of Krom Street on a report of multiple gunshots fired.  As officers arrived and began to investigate the incident, a 19 year-old male arrived at Bronson Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.  The victim told officers that he was he was walking north on Krom Street along the side walk when gunshots were fired. One of the bullets struck him in the leg. The victim was transported by private vehicle to Bronson Hospital for medical treatment and is listed in stable condition. Public Safety officers continue to investigate what events led up to the shooting.
