42-Year-Old Man Injured in Ranney Street Shooting

On October 3, 2026, at approximately 7:47 pm officers responded to the 400 block of Ranney St. regarding shots fired. After canvassing the area, officers located a 42-year-old male that had been shot. Officers assisted with medical care on scene and the male was transported to a local hospital. The injuries appear to be non-life threatening.

33-Year-Old Man Injured in Portage Street Shooting, Suspect Sought

On October 3, 2026, at approximately 12:20 am officers responded to the 1300 block of Portage St. regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male that had been shot. The male was provided with medical care on scene and transported to a local hospital. The injury appears to be non-life threatening.

20-Year-Old Arraigned in Fox Ridge Drive Homicide

Markeet McKinley Primer Jr., 20, was arraigned Oct. 2, 2026, before Judge Kathleen P. Hemingway in connection with the homicide of Amaure’ Dora-Lee Lynniah Harris. Primer was 19 at the time of his arrest and has since turned 20.
